- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the breakfast sausage and softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended.
- Add the drained Rotel, shredded cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the sausage mixture. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
