Description

A delicious and elegant dish featuring layers of roasted beets, blue cheese, and caramelized pears, topped with toasted pecans and balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 3 medium roasted beets, sliced
  • 1 large pear, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Roast whole beets at 400°F wrapped in foil for 45–50 mins. Cool, peel, and slice.
  2. Sauté pear slices in olive oil for 2 mins per side. Drizzle with honey and caramelize lightly.
  3. Stack beet, blue cheese, and pear slices. Repeat layers.
  4. Top with extra blue cheese.
  5. Sprinkle pecans and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  6. Garnish with thyme and serve warm.
