Description

Delicious and cheesy mashed potato puffs that make for the perfect appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture into small puffs, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Roll each puff in bread crumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the puffs until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  7. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.
