Description

A simple and delicious recipe for honey salmon that is easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place a baking sheet or oven-safe dish in the oven to heat up while you prepare the salmon.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
  4. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Season the fillets with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper, rubbing the seasoning evenly over the surface of the fish.
  6. In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
  7. Stir the mixture well until the honey is fully dissolved and the ingredients are evenly combined.
  8. Place the salmon fillets on the preheated baking sheet or in the oven-safe dish, skin-side down if applicable.
  9. Spoon or brush the honey mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  10. Make sure the fillets are well-coated with the sauce, allowing some to drizzle down the sides.
  11. Place the salmon in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  12. While the salmon is baking, check it periodically to avoid overcooking.
  13. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  14. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of freshly chopped parsley over the top of the salmon just before serving.
  15. Serve the honey salmon immediately, paired with your favorite side dishes.
