Description

Hobo Casserole with Ground Beef is a comforting one-pot dish featuring ground beef, vegetables, and cheese, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 cups Green beans
  • 1 Onion, medium
  • 3 Potatoes, medium
  • 1 can Tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in green beans, diced potatoes, tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then transfer it to a baking dish.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remove the foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
