Description

A delicious and easy-to-make treat that combines the sweetness of brown sugar and chocolate with the crunch of graham crackers and pecans.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips, mini
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups Pecans
  • 2 sleeves Graham crackers
  • 1 1/4 cups Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar. Melt over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Once boiling, let it cook for 3-4 minutes without stirring.
  6. Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the graham crackers, spreading evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the mini chocolate chips on top.
  9. Let the chocolate melt for a few minutes, then spread it evenly across the toffee.
  10. Sprinkle the pecans over the melted chocolate and allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the butter and sugar mixture.
  • This toffee can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
