Description

A delicious and creamy dish featuring cheese tortellini, chicken, and broccoli, all tossed in a garlic Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
