Description

A refreshing and zesty salad made with imitation crab meat, fresh vegetables, and a creamy dressing, perfect for a light meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat, cubed or flaked
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chop the imitation crab, celery, red onion, and fresh dill.
  2. Put them in a large bowl.
  3. Add Old Bay, paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir gently until fully mixed.
  5. Top with extra dill and chopped green onions before serving.
  6. Serve right away or chill in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
  • This salad can be served on a bed of lettuce or in a sandwich.
