  • ½ cup green peas (or your favorite veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika (for a hint of warmth)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
  3. For a crispier crust, blind-bake it by lining with parchment paper, adding pie weights, and baking for 10 minutes. Remove the weights and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until fully combined.
  5. Spread the diced ham, green peas, and shredded cheese evenly over the pre-baked pie crust.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring it spreads evenly.
  7. Place the pie dish on a baking sheet and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly golden.
  8. A toothpick inserted in the middle should come out clean.
  9. Remove the quiche from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
