- 4 slices bread of your choice
- 8 slices cooked bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 tablespoons dill pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet.
- Layer each slice of bread with 2 slices of cheddar cheese, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, 4 slices of cooked bacon, and 2 tablespoons of dill pickle slices.
- Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing.
- Serve the delicious bacon dill pickle grilled cheese sandwiches hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to use any type of bread you prefer.
- For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon.
