A quick and delicious Cheesy Beef Lasagna Skillet that combines all the flavors of traditional lasagna in a one-pan meal.

- 1 ½ cups ricotta
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 12 lasagna noodles, broken into chunks
- ½ cup water
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 jar marinara (24 oz)
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
Instructions
- Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet, brown the beef while breaking it apart.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté for 3–4 minutes.
- Season with Italian herbs, red pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in marinara and water, simmer 8–10 minutes.
- Stir in cooked noodles until well mixed.
- Spoon ricotta on top, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Broil for 3–5 minutes until cheese is bubbly—or cover and melt on low heat.
- Finish with chopped herbs and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- Can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
