Description

A quick and delicious Cheesy Beef Lasagna Skillet that combines all the flavors of traditional lasagna in a one-pan meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups ricotta
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 12 lasagna noodles, broken into chunks
  • ½ cup water
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 jar marinara (24 oz)
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet, brown the beef while breaking it apart.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Season with Italian herbs, red pepper, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour in marinara and water, simmer 8–10 minutes.
  6. Stir in cooked noodles until well mixed.
  7. Spoon ricotta on top, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Broil for 3–5 minutes until cheese is bubbly—or cover and melt on low heat.
  9. Finish with chopped herbs and serve hot.
