Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ cup milk

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the donuts are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar or glaze if desired.
