- ½ cup sugar
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the donuts are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar or glaze if desired.
